The 2A Ranch Gas Gun is semi-auto precision rifle match that blends prs and field style stages. Targets are engaged from 170-665 yards with the majority of targets in the 170-425 yard range.
Min ammo required- 80 rds, max ammo required -120 rds.
Gas Gun Match Rules
– Time+ scoring
o Shooters raw time for finishing the stage plus time penalties for not hitting targets.
o Penalty is max par time, plus 5 seconds for every target not hit
– 120 second par time
– 15 rounds max per stage
– Targets are ALL hit to move on.
– Starting position will be standing, mag in, bolt back
– Only 1 bag is allowed for the entire match. Whatever bag the shooter starts with, they have to finish with.
– No equipment changes (other than magazines). Shooters are only allowed to use the equipment that they start with. Bipods must remain attached to the rifles at all times.
– 2 divisions regardless of cartridge selection
o Small frame
o Large frame
– Shooter will use their safety while moving positions and yell “Safe” while doing so.
Shooters will move as a squad but will be responsible for their own target ranges, wind and corrections.

Format-
2 minute par time, everything must be deployed on the clock
-walking/hiking is required
-there is no shade
-water is provided
-100 yard zero range is available
-tripod with glass are MANDATORY for EVERY shooter
-all shooters are required to spot/score and RO
-COF will be mailed out 1 week before match start
-directions and match info will be mailed out 1 week prior to match date
-camping is available but must be coordinated 1 week prior to match date


$30 CASH ONLY (each shooter)

Timeline :
0730 - Gate opens (please do not be earlier than 0730)
0800 - safety brief (mandatory)
0815 - zero period
0830 - squads head to stages
0900 - match start
1500- match end
