PRS Rimfire at Gunline Shooting Complex - First USPRA World Qualifier of 2024

We spent the past weekend at the Gunline Shooting Complex in Carthage, MS.
This was the first of 8 world qualifier matches for the 2025 USPRA rimfire world team.
With a field of 78 total shooters, 37 of which are team USA candidates, this match was definitely not a regular 1 day match. The Match director Tim Little did a great job of making a challenging course of fire, that felt very much like a national finale or championship. Small targets, 90 second par times, and a decent amount of movement was the norm throughout the 12 stages. Winds in the morning were a calm 1-3mph, and slowly pickup to 3-5 towards noon, with wind direction changes every so often, kept everyone on their toes. In the end our fellow XLR teammate, and 2023 World Runner up Paul Dallin, took first with a score of 108/117, dropping only 9 for the day.

Results:
1. Paul Dallin - 108
2. Erich Leipold - 106
3. Chris Garcia - PRSTF Member - 105
