NorCal’s steel clinic is a perfect opportunity for new or novice shooters to gain more knowledge on info on PRS style match and props.

This event is a full day in which you will engage to targets out to 550 yards. We will also have all types of gear to use or test out.

Have a rimfire rifle and want to stretch it out to 200 yards? Want to learn more about PRS22 and NRL22 competitions? This is the class you've been waiting for!

Learn from seasoned competitors who have travelled the country to bring you tips and tricks you won't find at your average public range.

We will start with rifle setup, kestrel use, and basic ballistic theory. We will have chronographs to generate drop data for those that need it. Afterwards we will spend time building positions on multiple props and live firing with reactive steel targets including poppers and spinners.

This match will consist of approx. 120 rounds over 10 stages. The focus will be on position building, target acquisition and speed. Expect fairly large target sizes from 35 to 300 yards and 105 second par times.

We will also have a moving target for this match!

2 day War finale 2023 steel and long range
Long range on Saturday and steel on Sunday .
50 shooters from 4 clubs and participants coming from all locations.

Long range will be on Saturday and Steel on Sunday. A BBQ will be held after the Long Range on Saturday.

Access to the range will be available on Friday for those who need to zero. Camping will be available on Range 12 for those who need it.
